I'm new to boxing. This Wilder guy seems to be the real deal. Has he beaten Ring top 10 guys left and right like King G? Educate me.

Wilder beating Stiverne is like GGG beating geale. GGG beating Jacobs is like Wilder beating Joshua.

geale was a former unified champ who had beaten the #1 and #3 ranked fighters before losing a debatable split decision before fighing ggg. stirverne is a guy who beat #9 ranked arreola....oh yeah before that lost to a bum and got a draw with a 17-17 fighter. same thing!!!

Thanks. So Stiverne was also a unified world champion with several wins over top 10 fighters like Geale?

Nope .. Stiverne is a journeyman with a crooked promotor.

His best wins were over a shot to bits version of Chris Arreola.

GGG has beaten more top 10 world rated boxers than Wilder by a large margin. In fairness to Wilder he has recently tried to fight very high rated heavyweight boxers but the fights never happened because his intended opponents tested positive for a banned substance. GGG is considered by many as the best middleweight in the world and either AJ or Wilder is usually considered the best heavyweight in the world.

geale had recently lost a debatable SD to a solid fighter therefore all his previous accomplishments didn't matter

stirverene had recently beat the amazing chris arreola twice therefore all his past failures didn't matter

arreola wasnt shot, he just wasnt good. prime arreola(is there such a thing?) was losing to tomas adamek....a slow zombie like fighter at 175 who went on to barely beat michael grant and completely robbed steven cunningham at heavy.
