I hope they wait until the Summer at Wembley, so it increases my chances of getting a ticket and less chance of getting rained on, also, I don't want to go out in Cardiff after the fight, **** that in the Winter!

If they both are happy to wait until the summer with no fight in between then it should happen next but i think it's more likely both will have a fight early in 2018 until Wembley is available.

I want it next, but I'll be willing to allow an interim fight.

funny, a lot of posters that want joshua-wilder right now didn't want canelo-GGG immediately after the cotto fight lol

joshua, the A side, should offer wilder peanuts and wilder, the B side, should accept because of stuff and things and you know just... stuff and things....

Precisely. This, and only this. The food is hot, eat it.

The only reason to delay it is to garner more cash for the guys in the back room before they get their pens out and shake hands...I mean come on, the real fans of the game? Do we care about revenue or fights? If you are a fan of boxing you should want this fight and you should have been wanting it.

Look at May-Pac, yes the delay and the years worth of build up made it HUGE...But it frustrated the hell out of us all didn’t it? Let’s not all go down this road every time there is a big rivalry.

Was half tempted to click on delayed juat to watch the Wilder fanboys cry some more, but doing it next would be prefered

Haymon and Showtime would have to try their best to persuade purses and profits fighting in the USA with Vegas being the best option since Parker would look the fool to not want to fight in the mecca home of prize fighting and prestige in the city of debauchery.

Or, risk not getting floored by Wilder and rather get floored by Joshua in the UK with the biggest purse?

Parker is the missing link to the whole charade and we know his team are playing hardball for either side.
It’s pretty much simple, whether Parker plays hard ball or not.. Go make them an offer they cannot refuse, get Wilder to take that belt and then they wouldn’t be at much of a disadvantage in AJ fight. Right now they cannot command for a AJ fight in their own time, it took them 39 fights to get to this point. AJ and his own team would move at their own pace, the sad bit is Wilder is being left behind already and if they are not careful Joseph Parker would only get bigger and he too would leave Wilder behind. Fights don’t just happen, the economics also have to be right.

At the end of the day we're boxing FANS, who really cares how much the fight generates, we should just want to see it ASAP. I can understand why promoters, advisors, networks etc will want to delay the fight but I cannot comprehend why a boxing fan would not want this next. This seems to be a real problem with modern day boxing fans, why are people so interested in what fighters are earning as opposed to who they're fighting?
