  • Should Joshua vs Wilder Get Made Now Or Delayed a Little Longer? [Official Poll]

Lets see who wants this fight to be made next. Should the fight be delayed a little longer, in the same manner that Mayweather vs Pacquaio and Ward vs Kovalev was, allegedly to maximize the revenue they could generate, or do you want this fight to be made immediately, with no further delays and no stay busy or mandatory opponents?

Haymon and Hearn are trying their best to get the Parker fight. If Hearn gets Parker expect Hearn to make the Wilder fight even harder to make.

That fight happens later whether we like it or not. The A-side has made his position clear, do I really want to see the fight? Phuck yeah. Am I bothered that it isn’t happening next? Not really...

Next up of course. What possible logical reason would any boxing fan have for delaying this obvious and important fight for heavyweight supremacy a single day?

Hearn will dodge Wilder for a while yet.

Then Haymon should jump in and get Wilder the Parker fight. Am much as I respect Haymon for his work in boxing, Wilder seems to be left behind, Joseph Parker might even claim to have a better name than Wilder if they are not careful.

The balls on Parker's court. Surely he will go with the highest bidder. Only way Parker would even dare to take a Wilder fight is if it's in New Zealand. Given what you're saying, Parker would approach himself as the A side in home turf and possibly hard ball negotiation with a rematch clause in New Zealand. Does Wilder want to go through all that? Haymon and Showtime would have to try their best to persuade purses and profits fighting in the USA with Vegas being the best option since Parker would look the fool to not want to fight in the mecca home of prize fighting and prestige in the city of debauchery.

Or, risk not getting floored by Wilder and rather get floored by Joshua in the UK with the biggest purse?

Parker is the missing link to the whole charade and we know his team are playing hardball for either side.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think they should wait.

I can actually see Wilder managing to win this right now as AJ needs to work on some fundamentals. I like Wilder okay, but if you can't see that, technically, he's utter dogshit, then you need your eyes testing.

Plus, it's largely been one-sided. AJ is now a big name in the sport who is selling out 90,000 stadiums and doing a million PPVs. Wilder............ isn't.

Put the two guys together on a card... AJ vs Parker (for the belt) and Wilder vs Whyte.

If/when Wilder KOs Whyte, show a few clips of Whyte wobbling AJ, stoke the flames a bit...

Well I would want it to happen yesterday~

Still I get why it will take a while and don't really get twisted over waiting because I am patient and it is always fun to run my mouth to English fans (some ya'll are cool cats who know boxing).

Plus I get what its going on that fight is going to be massive and is of great importance to both men. For Wilder it is the fight he needs to really take it to another level, Joshua is pretty much the same because he needs Wilder to expand his brand across the pond in the US and become even more massive than he is now. When you consider what is on the line, both sides need that fight to really bring home the bacon so that requires a bit more time.
