Why are AJ/UK fans SOOOO threatened by Wilder's win last night?

I think this argument is overblown. The thing with AJ is that he's a stadium fighter and ultimately the Takam's of this world won't cut it in the end.
But AJ obviously does have options. Wilder has one and he has a neutred promoter who can't get him the fight. Wilder is doing his job by barking just like Haye did against Wlad.
Also if AJ lost people would still support him. I only see a few defensive posters on here. I like Joshua but if he got chinned by a Latvian Fisherman or Wilder I'd be disappointed for about 5 minutesLast edited by Sparked_26; 11-05-2017, 07:27 PM.Comment

I said he needed to prove himself and that was a response after someone said Wilder vs AJ was the only fight to make. I never once said I was against the fight...Comment

A lot of fanbases do this.
If you want the psycology behind it its because they draw some sence of validation from "their guy" or "their team" winning or doing well. So when there is a risk of the guy taking a loss they react as though their own well being is at risk.Comment

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Actually the thread should end with this ..
Not to mention the fight CANT happen any sooner than mid year NEXT year...maybe SOME actual fans would like to see wilder fight a relevant PRIME guy whos a TOP ten guy for once BEFORE that fights takes place, just a thought? I dont really give a shyte because the fights going to happening ,no ones ducking anyone, only idiots continue to regurgitate that........lol

Wilder does not need to prove himself against no Whyte. Only delusional folks like you think that. Even the Stiverne who fought yesterday beats Whyte and Takam.Comment
