I'm not angry about it but I do think it's being slightly overrated.... I mean just days ago we were asking how on earth Stiverne was mandatory and we all knew he was going to lose badly whatever the fashion.

The issue is when Wilder fans claim that AJ is scared because of what Wilder did last night (lol), negotiations haven't been opened or anything and both guys are only just finally free of mandatory obligations yet Joshua has supposedly been ducking Wilder for "a while now".

I want to hear what Wilder thinks his percentage from this fight should be that will let me know how close/realistic this fight is..... and please spare me the "I don't care about money, I just want to see the best fights" nonsense. There is a very clear A-side in this fight and a B-side that thinks he's worth more than he actually is. There is plenty to sort out.

No AJ fan doesn't want to see this fight, most of us are very confident that he exposes and KOs Wilder. The bragging rights to be had for either fanbase are too enticing to not want to see the fight happen.

      What is this garbage?!

First of all, Fury? What is the common narrative with Wilder and opponents like Povetkin or Ortiz? Has Fury made it public in boxing about PEDs?

Second, how long has Fury been inactive for reasons above or ffs whatever the reason is?

But it's Wilder's fault? Fury hoped in a ring to face Wilder and then ran away from the scene.... salty?

Klitchko?! Did Klitchko call out Wilder for the WBC and make his legacy juice either in Vegas or? What were the public offers? Klitchko was A side innit? Klitchko made more noise with Briggs chasing him around than wanting tbe WBC since Q1 2015

Fear. It's so odd. If you are a fan of a guy, and you think he is the best, why wouldn't you want him to face another top guy? I am the biggest Spence fan on this site. I was SO EXCITED that he was getting to face Brook instead of fight for a vacant belt because I believed in him. It shows a lack of belief in their fighter.

So why are you guys afraid of Wilder making the step up and fight Whyte? He has nothing to lose right? Easy money that makes the AJ fight truly big. I think it shows a lack of belief

He certainly seemed amped up to fight Fury in the aftermath of when Fury got in the ring after the Szpilka fight though~.

And Whyte he pursued a fight with Ortiz instead which is much more meaningful even if it paid less and had to jump through hoops to try and make it happen. That is something most dudes get applauded for not shat on~

He shouldn't concede anything before they really starts negotiating~ that is a terrible position to take. Do you get how boxing works?
He had opportunities to fight both Fury and Wlad. No excuses.

He didn't pursue Ortiz. It was Ortiz chasing him for the fight. Whyte was offered before he agreed to Ortiz. So you are telling us that Wilder should fight Ortiz or Stiverne for $1.4M rather than Whyte for $5M? Do YOU know how the business of boxing works?

Negotiations are where Wilder will demonstrate how bad he wants a fight with Joshua. If he think he deserves more than 30% he is delusional, or just pricing himself out.

Not really with Fury at all, please tell me when those opportunities were?

What does that order matter he didn't want to fight garbage Whyte or Stiverne he wanted Ortiz~

He was going to fight Ortiz because he wanted and wanted that over the Whyte fight so yea. How else would you explain it how that worked out? Why was Wilder about to fight Ortiz? For 1.4-2 million? Other than he wanted to prove how bad a man he was?

Joshua needs Wilder plenty if he wants to max out, so while Wilder will get less he is going to get a mint because he will be worth it.

Your narrative is all jacked up and not how things actually are. I am telling you how things are you are talking about how they might have been.

I feel exactly how you feel, only difference is am NOT a Joshua fan. And I too want to see the fight, but that fight is NOT happening next. Everyone knows that, having said that Wilder has an offer that I think is great on the table to fight Whyte. For the money offered if he fights another gimme fight for less then I would accuse him of ducking Whyte.

At the end of the day Wilder is the B-side and he cannot expect the A-side to move to his own tune when he wants, it’s the other way round. I genuinely believe that fight would happen next year summer if Wilder build it up in the way skysport/Hearn wanted him to.

Take sides? lol As of right now, I think AJ beats Wilder. You guys don't don't know how to handle someone who is just a boxing fan. I didn't say anything about these two fighters, I said something about the FANS and you guys can't separate the fans from the fighters. It's really immature and it's NSB in a nutshell.

I always piss off "both sides" here because I have no respect for fanbases, just fighters.

If you didn't understand that I'm an unashamed Ward fan (with my frequent sigs and bragging about supporting him when everyone else bashed him) then you're ******er than your posts would indicate.

Quite possible. Hearn is pure finance.

And, FWIW, to the other posters, I admire things about Wilder but I'm not a fan because I don't believe in the guy. I've said time and time again that there are issues with his footwork that remain uncorrected and will be his undoing. It'll be another "I told you so and I told you how". BUT, I'm not going to let that get in the way of what I feel is the truth and these insecure fans that are racing to discredit Wilder and the legitimacy of the fight between he and AJ are not true boxing fans. They're cheerleaders for certain fighters that they've decided to emotionally invest in.
