Hate on Wilder all you want, but everyone knows there are only two heavyweights who mean anything and one is Wilder and the other is running scared of Wilder.

This is the bottom line and that fuels the perception that Wilder-Joshua is the biggest fight that needs to be made ASAP.

I didnt watch the fight but it went the way I expected and had a convo with AJ who just laughed Wilder off. He knows he can take him easy, the fight is a definite for 2018, it just remains to be seen how the bigger fights with Fury or Haye/Bellew play out.

I think we all underestimate Wilder and discredit him for more than he deserves.

TBF the man is a threat in the division tbh, hence why many of his challengers end up doping/ other champions/fighters avoiding him and waiting it out.

He may not display skills of technique, footwork and all that jazz but he is quick and has devastating punching power.

It could go both ways if he fought AJ, he could either win or lose. I would say Wilder has more chances in the later round due to stamina issues AJ has fighting late.

I'm a AJ fan but right now i make Wilder a slight favorite if they face off

this quest to get as big as possible resulting in 254lb against takam has diminished AJ as a fighter, he has less handspeed, less snap, less stamina etc etc etc.

Joshua needs to weigh NO MORE than 245lbs and preferably 5-10lbs than that.

I think AJ is ideal is 240. He was slow as molasses vs Takam..

This is a valid point. It doesn't need to be Whyte to sell Wilder to the UK market.

I do agree that if Wilder wants to be paid much at all he needs to bring more to the table than he currently does. Nobody in the UK knows who the f*** he is.

Problem with Wilder taking on Parker is that if AJ needs another opponent he's likely to want Parker too, and that's a no-brainer choice for Parker.

Nobody in the UK knows Wilder yet every UK poster seems to know he can't beat Joshua or Whyte? Hmmm. The mere fact that Hearn and Joshua mention his name makes him known.

Wilder has power but is physically weak. That little ref had no problem holding on to a raging Wilder, if that was Joshua he'd have been thrown off like a rag doll.
