Theres a narrative people are trying to develop where Povetkin and Ortiz just started taking drugs because of Wilder. In truth Povetkin was already using that substance and Ortiz had already been banned for PEDs. Nothing to do with fearing Wilder, they are just cheats.

Washington was a replacement for Wawryk. Spzilka was a fill in keep busy fight when he thought he was gonna get the Fury Klitchko winner. It was a tune up to test his surgically repaired hand and to prep for Fury basically.
