I've been to Korea, and that "weak Asian" **** is a lie. Nothing weak about Koreans. I'm happy I ran into some slow ones. They ran my ass about a mile.

Nothing wrong with Pushing fighters and trying to build them up as the next big thing that is great for the sport but at the same time...Don't just crown them the best because they fight on your network, let them PROVE IT!

Fighters don't get reward the best by just Popularity or because that is who some fans want to be considered #1 have to go out PROVE IT still and Bivol haven't proved ANYTHING even tho I like others like his Potential A LOT!
There's only one fighter to beat at 175 and it's Stevenson. And Stevenson is a joke at this point

        Kovalev doesn't matter

All of these other fighters are contenders

So you can name any of these prospects and say they're potentially best in the division for you (Barrera/Gvozdyk and etc). All of these guys has potential but not resume

And somebody said Max didn't even say that Bivol is the best

which sounds right and nothing wrong with saying it

That's the problem, they push them by crowning them. Then you have some fans start believing theyre seeing something special but when someone make any critical comments they turn it into a something else. I'm with you... I'm all for boxing being more inclusive but like you said everyone has to prove it.

Ward didn't prove to be the best in the division. All he did was beat Kovalev and many people thought he lost the first fight. You boxing fans love to make huge things out of stuff that isn't anywhere near.

huh? who says Koreans are weak?
Koreans and Jap's generally have some of the best chin's you will ever see, It's a real shame there isnt more Pro boxers from Korea because that rivalry would be one of the best in the world, Korea has some real deep rooted hatred towards the Japanese going back a long time now.

Bivol would beat Kovalev at this point imo.
