Rigo wasn't expecting that left hook from Donaire, again, protect yourself at all times, but most heads that get caught from a sucker punch from a notorious hitter who's hook is a trademark would most likely be very stunned or KO'd..

Rigo has proven to have an iron chin. The Japanese Amagasa kat was like 25lbs rehydrated which will be no different in total mass come the Loma bout, as we all saw and see, Rigo was playing around in defense against the Japanese he won't be doing that against Loma, or even better, if he does and his defense is performance of the decade against Loma... dude's automatically #1 p4p for the longest
Calling Donaire's knock down punch of Rigo a sucker punch is just delusional - you're a fan boy - I get it.

The winner of Rigo vs Loma is #1 lb for lb to me - I don't think lb for lb skill-wise that Canelo-GGG are on the same level. This is a better fight for hardcore boxing fans - Canelo-GGG was a casual fan wet dream.

      lol. this kid

You have no idea how much power Donaire packed in that left hook I could troll you all year! Donaire loaded up a MASSIVE hook yet as I TOLD YOU, did Rigo not poker face that punch and get up quick with BADASS composure?

whether it was a ''sucker punch'' or not, I illustrated a point for its power at close range. They were clinched, and Rigo didn't expect the hit, or thought the ref would probably intervene even though Rigo was also in the attack... Donaire seized the opportunity..

will Loma have such an opporunity at close range? How will Rigo take Loma's shots and vise versa homie.

if you think Loma will have the same success at cutting off the ring vs rigo as he did vs slow plodders like walters, martinez, sosa, etc. You're in for a surprise.

Totally agree. I've even seen people try to use Russell Jr. as an equivalent, but he is also somewhat flat footed.

I wonder how many rounds will pass before Lomachenko's face starts to lump up.

Loma has never been hit by the kind of power that comes from that scary left of Rigo's. it will come down to output...i can see Rigo being out worked here...but just one of those lefts can quickley change the way Loma thinks and acts...but he will have more ammo to switch up angles etc.. imo 60/40 in Loma's favor...
and I'm a culty Rigo fan forever - he's just a menacing enigma in the sweet science and should really be appreciated.

You should show ORLANDO "Savage To The Max" SALIDO some respect bro, afterall he's Lomachencko's father, SALIDO showed him everything he knows.

People choose to ignore the fact that ORLANDO SALIDO wanted to give Lomachencko a direct rematch , but Team Loma decided to go in a different route.

It's obvious to me they kept lowballing SALIDO , waiting for him to get old & shot.

ORLANDO "Savage To The Max" SALIDO, The Most Feared Man in Boxing!

'Alive' is a literal translation by the writer here. In panamanian spanish when you say "vivo" it means slick (in boxing terms) or street smart (in regular use terms).

Yessir. Those were really impressive wins but he shouldn't be ranked so highly on the p4p list. A win over Rigo would certainly help his case.

we shall see,the lomachenko hype is getting out of control but the size difference between the two is overemphasised. if lomachenkos as good as people say, he'll win. if rigondeauxs as good as people say, he'll win. seems as if a lot of rigo fans dont have the confidence in him they did a few months ago now the fights become a reality, hearing an awful lot of excuses suddenly.
