        Wilder vs Whyte

Dillian Whyte has the Helenius scalp I guess, but he's not all that well regarded, and the fight is proposed for Wilder to head to Whyte's hometown, for an event that will likely end up on Sky Box Office (generating world's more than $5m).

Pay the man fair is all.

Hearn's split with his fighters on marquee fights is 80/20 to the fighter (less costs); get a reasonable price for what to expect from the gate/Sky Box Office/etc, and pay Wilder 80% of that take as his purse. Hearn pushes the heck out of the fight, and any upside beyond the expected number stays with Matchroom.
I agree with you in that; but, is unfair for Wilder to ask for 7 million for the Dillian Whyte fight and that was before Dillian Whyte obtained the silver WBC heavyweight division belt. Who Whyte and Wilder fought to warrant 7 million, especially when Wilder have the super WBC heavyweight division belt and White at that time don't have the silver WBC heavyweight division belt. I understand, if Wilder ask 10 million vs Joshua in England. Joshua have the Wladimir scalp and the unified super WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight division belts, while Wilder have the super WBC heavyweight division belt. Now that Wilder win tonight, and Dillian Whyte win that belt, maybe that 5 million have more sense.

$7m may be too high, but it's clear that $4m is too low; both guys put forward their offers, so now they can all talk.

Bringing Deontay Wilder to the UK to defend his heavyweight title is a big deal for Matchroom Sport; made an even bigger deal on the fact that he'd be taking on a big-talking Londoner in London. Between the take at the O2 and the draw on Sky Box Office, you've got a nice pie to work with.

What is it REALLY worth to Eddie Hearn to get a UK Sky Box Office showcase to then set up the summer blockbuster at Wembley (Wilder has said he's willing to travel and I'm starting to have my doubts of if Showtime is ready to bet PPV on the first fight)?

If February 3rd really is the date, Eddie Hearn basically has till the first week of December to lock in the deal. (Something between $5m and $6m, with Joshua next if he wins, would be a pretty good deal).

I hope the unifications begin in 2018

That is more fair, I agree with you. Hope that fight happens. We, the boxing fans are the winner, If those plans work and Wilder vs Joshua is made. I like Wilder or Joshua to put that paper champion Joseph Parker out, to made the unification more sweet and finally, to see a undisputed heavyweight division champion.
