Canelo GGG won't happen in May. Oscar Delaputa will push for it in September to make GGG older. Canelo will fight him anytime but the problem is Delaputa.Comment

Oscar and Eric Gomez are actually being honest for once, because both have given out clues that it's Canelo who has not signed on for the rematch. They clearly know the public wont accept anything else, plus they want the rematch money, but from the hints they're giving out, it sounds like Canelo may be experiencing some of that Danny Garcia-post-Lucas-Matthysse-"I didn't realize I'd be deaf in one ear and pissing blood for weeks after fighting that dude. I don't care what they pay me, it's not worth it fighting that guy again" second thoughts.
Not that it really looked like GGG hit Canelo with enough power punches to have that effect, but then again it didn't look like Matthysse hit DSG with that many either. But who knows. I'm just saying, it's possible. Or, it's possible Canelo was just fine after the fight. After all, he was out partying and delivering supplies in Mexico and all sorts of stuff right after the fight, so he seemed completely fine. But, idk. It sounds like Canelo is the one hesitating, for whatever reason.
My guess is, he may not have been "hurt" after the fight like DSG was against Matthysse, but I do think the fight was incredibly exhausting for Canelo in a way none of his previous fights have ever been, and I think he had a hard time lasting to the final bell, and I think he might not be sure he can do that again. When the final bell rang he almost celebrated out of relief. You could tell he was struggling to make it even in round 8. It's a testament to how past prime GGG is that he allowed Canelo to make it all 12 being that exhausted, but even past prime, I think Canelo isn't sure he can last 12 rounds again against GGG. That's my real theory.Comment

Don't know if it's true, but I keep hearing the GGG camp will not accept the rematch if Golden Boy doesn't select them for the May date. Makes sense.Comment

I don't believe in those words, I am going to believe when the rematch is officially announced. Canelo, the younger fighter struggle with a shot Golovkin. The 35 years old Golovkin who many people said he fought Bums, that same shot Golovkin give Canelo the younger fighter, the toughest fight of his career second to Floyd Mayweather.

The fight they claimed wouldn't happen just happened 1 mo ago & their already back with their ******ity.
Just like they claimed canelo aged ggg for 2 yrs when it's been less than 2 yrs since he won title from cotto & its been 1 yr since he vacated.
So according to gtards the fact that ggg took most a yr negotiating with his mandatory Jacobs over a few hundred k,& then had to do a training camp for said fight doesn't factor into how long fight took to get made,or the fact that ggg forced a 15 day deadline 55/45% purse bid while canelo was in court 4 case he owes millions over now.
Canelo has LITERALLY the best record in Boxing by far @27 yrs old,thats why boxing equavalent to bcs says hes #1p4p,Boxrec computer.
if he retired today hed be a guaranteed 1st ballot hall of famer,but yet gtards say hes scared of the guy he made look amatuerish.
