They can't put the fight on PPV in the US unless it takes place in the US.

The amount of lost revenue in the UK if the fight takes place in the US is much less than the lost revenue in the US if the fight takes place in the UK, hence the pot being larger in the US.

It's basic economics. None of this may matter as Hearn will attempt to leverage AJ to land a major deal with HBO, but if AJ sticks with Showtime and actually fights Wilder, you're likely looking at a two fight deal with a US fight on PPV and a UK fight on Showtime.
joshua wilder on us ppv would bomb wtf are you talking about. you are talking about hypothetical scenarios. im in reality. come visit sometime

Oh good good, so you were lying. Yes, Wilder does the worst ratings if you don't count everyone doing worse ratings.

        Brilliant!

Theres a difference between "lying" and using comprable data. If you think fights featuring guys like Berto, Ortiz, Avalos, Joe Smith, and Fonfara (guys who are either irrelevant or virtually unknown) are comparables for Wilder then you're clearly just talking nonsense and not interested in putting forth logical discussion. You're post can't be taken seriously.

The fact is Wilder isn't popular to a broad us market. Just a fractured boxing community, which would suggest the ceiling for that fight is around 300k and that's in an ideal situation where Joshua had acquired a US presence which isn't happening anytime soon. Realistically they could pull 200k in a summer fight, with each fighter winning their next scrap. With that being the reality, the fight will take place in the UK if it happens in 2018.
