WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will have one eye on a future super-fight with IBF, IBO, WBA champion Anthony Joshua on Saturday when he defends his World Boxing Council heavyweight title against Canadian challenger Bermane Stiverne in New York. Wilder (38-0, with 37 KOs) faces Stiverne for the second time, two years after winning the title from the 39-year-old in a one-sided unanimous victory in Las Vegas in January 2015.

The fact that 'tickets are still on sale' for Wilder's fight just tells you everything you need to know about why he needs to get on a plane to the UK asap and fight whyte at a sold out O2 Arena and then the divisional king, unified champion & cash cow AJ

Wilder is not ******, he is putting on a good act but soon he will follow the money and book his flight to the UK.
Soon he realizes he is the B-side & AJ brings all the tickets, all the money & revenue & that AJ is the unified champion with 3 belts & #1 in the division, and he is just a titleholder, then it will be made. He knows where his nearest airport is and he knows where his passport is. Easy fight to make.

AJ accepting the fight means you'd have to make an offer rather than just saying it to any journalist who interviews you Wilder.

dillian whyte is the chris eubank jr of the hw division....a guy with a resume full of domestic wins and euro trash......

wilder doesnt need to fight him to prove anything...thats why he said it would take 7 mil....7 mil to come across the pond and fight a nondescript challenger on his home turf....whyte aint that big of an attraction and wilder knows its fishy....wilder can make half that money staying at home....so 7 mil is the only way he'd travel to face a non champ whos name isnt big in boxing...its simple logic really....but you fools will call it "duck" because it suites your wack agenda.......you EE superfan/anti american/anti black guys are all the same...same old tired routine

it is simple logic. 4 million is more than 1 which is around what he makes. so he turned down 4 million dollars because the opponent wasnt good enough? thats your argument? have you seen wilders first 5 title defense opponents

wilder has fougth in the uk before but now its fishy? its not fishy that he turned down this huge sum? hmm ok

I've been out all morning using my Duck-Call whistle but I think Joshua ate too much pounded yams to fly during the winter. We might catch this duck during the summer, but hes a smart one.

                    One problem with your scenario.

                    US PPV.

AJ can come to the US and still do gangbusters on UK PPV.

But if Wilder comes to the UK, the fight can't be a PPV in the US.

All involved know to maximize revenue it needs to be built into a US PPV attraction and therefore, the fight must take place in the US.

Which is why Hearn doesn't want to rush into the fight, nor should he. AJ is a cash cow. Makes all the business sense in the world to get in a couple more fights before Wilder.
