How is a he a second grade fighter exactly? you can criticize his boxing skills but as a complete package (power, toughness, effective aggression) he was a top fighter

An example fighters should follow. Went from a stepping stone for Ortiz to, throught grit and determination, a moderately successful and lucrative career.

Happy that he made enought to retire on. Rarely a dull moment when he was in the ring. Won't make it to the HoF but boxing fans from our era will remember him.
