You were right bro, it is Salido-Roman, Vargas-Smith. Farmer-Ogawa as well. Pretty weak card IMO

This year has been a let down just like most years in the sport in recent times.

Dont get me wrong, some fights we wanted were made but most of them were an absolute let down. GGG/Canelo was like 2 guys too afraid to lose rather than grab greatness by the throat, on top of that the result was a joke. Thurman and DG was a snoozefest and while degale and jack did ok, neither looked they belong in the upper tier of the sport. A rematch was nipped in the bud instantly.

Only a handful of "big" fights delivered, with AJ/Wlad being one for the ages and Cuadras/Estrada being pretty good, plus we got the 1-2 from Rung/Roman.

Hopefully with the wbss kicking into gear next year and a potential coronation of king at fly, we might finally have a year with not just name match ups but quality fights.

Kinda like Farmer getting a shot at a belt. He wants to unify with Berchelt. Davis didn't want to fight anybody. Solido-Roman could be kinda fun and Vargas deserves a soft touch.

        Golden Boy should make Corrales-Gamboa.

word is Linares v Garcia may get made. That would be good.

          Porter/Granados should be action packed.

But without Spence, Crawford, Canelo, GGG fighting from here on out 2017 isn't ending like it should.

Yes and if each happens to win one, then a little threeway between Kovalev/Beterbiev/Bivol could be a lot of fun, with Gvozdyk/Barrera/Alvarez and just maybe a Stevenson thrown in to ****e things up....

Hbo has Barrera, Kovalev and Bivol. Don't expect anybody else to really fight there. After Alvarez Superman has Jack and i doubt he'll be in a hurry to even fight anybody for a while.

That would be awesome. Bivol, Kovalev, Beterbiev and Jack could be the seeds. Add Gvozdyk, Barrera, Brown and... ? To that and you have a great WBSS.
