Andre Ward vs. Joe Calzaghe

Ward beats the breaks off him Hopkins fight would show that. Calzaghe was good but with a really questionable resume yes he fought some good people but his best win was Jeff lacy.(And some what a old man bhop)

BHop got beat by Calzaghe then went on to school Pavlik. If anything Calzaghe was the one out of his prime.

Calzaghe by anything he wants. To slick too fast. Ward wouldn't be able to keep up speed/volume. The only thing Ward would be able to do is clinch if Calzaghe decides to fight on the inside.

and thats all he would do. have you seen ward fight??? he would clinch 500 times if he had to. thats winning to the judges and some fanboys

never a ward fan but he was a top fighter. saying that, joe is just all wrong for him. The thing about joe is he loved fighting on the inside too, he'd just have been far too busy and landed too many flurries on the inside. Ward wouldnt have been able to figure him out although to be fair hes not the only one who couldnt

how is he going to land flurries with his arms clamped??? does he have 3 arms now? ward would just clamp him for 12 straight roudns. it would be a "scchooling" according to some. also when calzaghe comes forward to get off those flurries....WARDS GOIGN TO JUMP HEADFIRST INTO HIM. that will bust him open and make him hesitant to do it again. and if calzaghe does get off punches what will slow him down? some low blows to the nuts. if calzaghe complains or bends over in pain maybe ward gets another "ko"

remembr ward doesnt travel so the fight would take place in usa where they let ward do all this. calzaghe would not overcome all this. no one did. oh yeah and even if he did overcome all this and beat ward on points the judges will rob him like they ddi kovalev. ward has all the bases covered.

ward wins due to incompetent refereeing not warning him about holding

calzaghe wins due to incompetent judging not being able to tell what is landing and whether a punch is being landed by inside of the glove aka a slap

so it depends on the officials, but prime versions i edge ward ud

Andre is a much better fighter than Calzaghe. It would be a wide UD.

Bernard Hopkins arguably beat Calzaghe, Andre Ward is a much better version of Hopkins. Stylistically, Ward is all wrong for Calzaghe.

Like the fight wouldn't even be close.

Depends on where the fight is held. Either guy wins at home. Outside of that it's a toss up. It's easy to lean Ward but people forget that Joe was actually a very good fighter.
