BHop got beat by Calzaghe then went on to school Pavlik. If anything Calzaghe was the one out of his prime.

Calzaghe by anything he wants. To slick too fast. Ward wouldn't be able to keep up speed/volume. The only thing Ward would be able to do is clinch if Calzaghe decides to fight on the inside.

never a ward fan but he was a top fighter. saying that, joe is just all wrong for him. The thing about joe is he loved fighting on the inside too, he'd just have been far too busy and landed too many flurries on the inside. I always rated Calzaghe and have never been a big Ward fan both in and out the ring. But looking at this objectively, I'd have to say Ward by a close UD.
