no its not, its just a very good fight.

Nothing about both of them dude is superstars etc to demand a ppv fight.

Its will be like hopkins vs dawson in terms of draw/

With those sort of numbers the purse total for both guys would be threatening 20 million and would put both firmly in the top 10 of fighter pay scale.

If the fight does 300k the dudes are still splitting up like 9-10 million between them which is awesome for those guys.

Of it Can do numbers like Golovkin, Kovalev and Ward.

A lot of those fights were very poorly promoted, plus Ward is not a big time get out there guy. Golovkin and Kovalev aren't even American that hurts appeal right there.

I think they can do a lot better with minimal extra effort on a fight like Thurman-Spence. The winner of that fight then is pretty big so their next fight is probably on the 300k sort of level regardless of who it is against, Crawford may not pull a ton extra but will add something because he is a known guy so I would say they could push 400k.

That is a pretty big fight, it is not outrageous but when you get to those sort of numbers PPV is legitimate way to go because that is real money.

Exactly!!! I doubt that anybody at welterweight would "duck" Crawford who is moving up.
I more so see Arum protecting his cash cow from the monsters at WW who are with PBC.

Arum will throw Crawford's name out there but not making any real negotiations. Just like he had Pac piggy back off of Mayweather for all those years.

It will be interesting to see how the politics play out. Post-Horn, all of Crawford's potential opponents are on Haymon's side of the street.

Crazy thing is that even though Thurman is considered the champ at 147, Spence is considered the PPV fight.

Speak to serious people take Thurman over Spence.

Crawford was already on PPV and completely bombed (like under 50k) and put up a stinker against Postol. Spence has momentum and it's a great fight but no way is it a PPv event.
