You'd have thought the Ali Act would have scared them away, not being able to rinse boxers like they do the UFC guys.
But I guess getting Floyd money affects people in funny ways
I love posts like this, because it just shows how incredibly unintelligent this Panda fellow is.
Biggest marketing opportunity in the history of the UFC and Dana chooses to wear the t-shirt of a new company, which he admitted publicly was a new company, which registered a website, registered a business, etc. All of which was discussed here.
Yet this ****** thought it was just a shirt . . .
You are among the worst troll alt accounts on the site so fair play.
And who the f#ck makes a shirt before a actual company? And a website don't make a company either genius lmfao at the intelligent level of your ****** ass with that comment. What are you 13?
Hell registering a business don't even make it a business really. You need to actually be doing something to generate revenue (& selling a f#cking shirt with Zuffa Boxing on it on your UFC.com website don't count) & having profits before you got a business.
And after listening to this Mike Swick podcast he sounded SUPER f#cking non-committal on getting into boxing & this would be some super small & potentially short lived exposure to boxing. So idk that I'm buying this happening 100% for sure still & if it is it has a good chance of looking like a D level PBC Bounce show with the fights on it.
All he could really do is promote boxing under the UFC brand I guess, which has some weight (the brand that is).
He would be guaranteed some ratings because I can see a large chunk of UFC fans watching the shows just because the UFC brand is backing the fights.
I don't really care for MMA, but if say Golden Boy started promoting some MMA I'd be curious, I'd tune in just because, and if I liked what I saw maybe I'd return.
Now who would he sign? Could UFC become a bridge for other promoters? Or become some kind of ranking/sanctioning body of sorts (highly unlikely).
If it does happen I think UFC will simply start promoting some boxing cards on their existing platforms, they could potentially lure in a few names with some $$$.
Also the female aspect, UFC seems to be light years ahead of boxing in that regard, so maybe they'll become a major boxing promoter for women?
If White decided to promote boxers, he would not only be the new kid on the block (regardless of his experience promoting MMA fighters) but unlike UFC, he would be a new promoter among many already well established and would find that boxing promoters would be less than willing to help him out. He wouldn't be able to rob any elite level boxers in his prospective stable blind because they have the choice to go to another promoter. Boxing does bigger numbers worldwide than UFC for big ticket matchups but Dana wouldn't have the biggest piece of the pie like he does with his monopolized UFC. I just don't see it happening unless White wants to enter boxing for the love of the game. He's become so used to being the only action in town, I really don't know if he'd be keen on dealing with competing promoters and relinquishing more power than he's used to.
If only boxing had the same format as the UFC...
You know where the top 10 fighters in each division have to actually fight each other to move up the rankings and earn a title shot. Where each division only has 1 champion.
That would be hilarious considering boxing fans kill their own sport when someone loses they should retire ansd call it a day . lol
You would see alot of loses with that set up bcthe best would fight the best and you would get not just more frequent fights but trilogies ...
Im not sure todays boxing fans can mentally deal with that just look at some of the Takam / Joshua comments "oh my god he took bodyshots ..etc " these fans today dont even understand ppl are going to get hit in a sport where actual punches are being thrown at you .
I think Whites presence in boxing in general would make better fights happen faster just on a competing level so theres that . He can also make mega fights happen if hes willing to shell out the money .
An Ultimate Boxing Championship belt may not be such a bad idea ,what harm could it do with so many ACTUAL pointless belts already .
You are among the worst troll alt accounts on the site so fair play.
You always cry troll, but are never able to back up the accusation. A troll is someone who says something they don't mean because they want to get a reaction out of somebody.
We said Zuffa Boxing was a company set up before the McGregor fight. Which is true. We said Dana admitted that publicly. Which is true. We said Dana was wearing the shirts to promote the new company. Which is true. We said all of this was discussed here at the time. Which is true. We said the company website was discovered at the time. Which is true.
If everything we are saying is true, and we're saying it because it is true, how would we possibly be trolling? Unfortunately, you don't seem to know what words mean.
And worse, even when Dana was telling you it wasn't just a shirt, you still thought it was just a shirt. Even when people were able to prove it was a new company and not just a shirt, you still thought it was just a shirt.
So isn't it possible that the problem is that you're intellectually deficient? Most ****** people have no idea they are ******. So isn't it possible you're just blissfully unaware how lacking your intelligence is?
