But Joshua deserves 15-20 Million right? This is a big money fight and its a unification fight so a 70:30 split is still more than enough for Josh and his people.
One reason i always hated team Klitschko is because they underpaid their opponents and i dont want Team Joshua to go the same route as Team Klitschko.

Wilder and Parker both have the power to cut AJ's earnings in two.

By fighting each other, Joshua will only have 1 unification fight to make = i.e. half the money. You can say that he could make money fighting anyone - and while I think he'd make lots of money fighting someone like Haye or Fury, he's not going to make that much more in non-unification fights.

Moreover the winner of Parker-Wilder would have 2 belts and a significantly boosted profile, making a 50-50 split possible, further eroding Joshua's earnings.
The belts arent making aj the money he fights haye whyte or fury no belts would bring in alot more money than wilder or parker parkers only leverage is the belt

Really? He can fight dilian Whyte, David Haye and Tyson fury and make more than he would against either Parker or wilder unification or not. There's not suddenly and extra chunk of money because someone has a belt they still generate the same amount of interest.

The point I was making saying he got 1.1 million was because some other posters were trying to say he got 700k which was incorrect.

I think the Aj mob just Wana price themselves out.

60/40 is fair in Aj favour obviously even 65/35.

            But 20 that is ridiculous

I said it before I'll say it again hearn should put his money where his mouth is and 80% percent to the winner I'm pretty sure parker would sign right away I don't think AJ would.
20% is more than fair when it gives him a career high payday. If he generated more than Id agree 30-35% would be a more even split but the fact is he's not. It's not really aj pricing himself out. Parker is being offered a career high pay day don't let your ego get in the way of things here just because it's an 80-20 split he's insulted but the facts are simple it's probably more than he's made for his last 3 fights combined.

Well he's the one generating the money so yeah of course he deserves it. It's a big money fight because aj is involved. If it was a unification between Parker and wilder that wouldn't be the type of purse we'd be talking about. I don't understand this talk of underpaying opponents when this would be 4X as much as his career high purse. Aj isn't a charitable foundation these guys are getting what they're worth they are just getting their feelings hurt by terms like "80/20 split"

                  Your talking about ego lol

The fighter here who is walking around with an ego is Aj. The other fighters aren't saying we want 50/50 they are saying we want to be pushing closer to that meaning they would still accept a fight where Aj still gets the majority but not a 80/20.

I don't see how hard that is to comprehend, if he "generated" more then he should be going for 50/50

                  End of.

80/20 is insulting, to anyone no matter if it's a "career high payday"

Sooner or later Aj is gonna need parker or wilder especially since he wants to be undisputed champion.

Oh wait that's right his fans would rather watch Joshua Vs Whyte 3. Because Aj has shown more interest in fighting Whyte again rather than fighting the other champions. What does that say about Aj?

I like the dude, but I Wana watch the best fight the best who doesnt?

These fights will generate a ton more purely for the fact you have two champions going head to head with recognised belts on the line. And both undefeated fighters.

That's more than enough to sell the fight to anyone.

30-35% for Parker is a good deal.

Let's be real though, if you're talking about who is bringing in the revenue for the fight, Parker probably isn't even bringing in 10% of it, but obviously it can't work like that as no fight would ever get made.

As a unification fight i think anything below 30% for one of the champions is too low, even if it's not a true refection on the worth of the fighters.

Did you see the crowd AJ had for his last fight?? against that guy who's name most of us can't spell.. Too much reward for AJ, even with little or no risk. Wilder and Parker don't create that kind of interest. And still will not even with 2 belts unfortunately. But maybe one of them could get that 20% up to 30% or 40%... I'm curious, is Parker big in New Zealand? Can he sell out stadiums? any Kiwis here?
