Since when do fighters brag about moving up to fight a 40 year old opponent?

Yeah.

He's basically saying I got the heart and balls to move up to 175 to fight he bigger guy, but but but only because Stevenson is 40.

I remember a time when fighters were almost embarrassed that they had to fight a guy who was nearing 40. This would be like Marciano bragging he KO'd Louis, or Tommy Morrison bragging he beat Foreman.

But this is the attitude era of boxing, so I can't expect humble sportsmanship. I half expect fighters to form an X over their junk and shout "let's get ready to suck iiiittt!" before the start of a major fight now.

Attitude era of WWF was great. Attitude era in boxing, not so much.
