Jousha Looked Like Absolute Crap Last Night

He was suppose to blast this guy out, instead the ref helped him out so he could keep his 100% KO ratio

The guy took this fight on 12 days notice and gave Jousha hell

Yea Jousha won nearly every round, but he was swinging and missing throughout the fight, as the fight went on, he was getting caught flush with combos, and he was clearly gassing

If David Haye can get back in good nick, he would cause Jousha all kinds of problems...movement is the key to cause Jousha problems, which is why Fury would be a difficult style for him

Jousha has such a leaky defense, he is open for the counter, i think Jousha may have peaked, i dont see any improvement as far as defense, actually he seems to be getting hit more and more, maybe the trainer change was a bad idea

I agree he looked bad.I have seen him look much better in the past. His work rate was pathetic. He probably averaged only about 20 punches a round. I noticed in the fight with Wlad he didn't throw many punches per round and he threw even fewer punches per round this fight. He wasn't very accurate with his punches this fight. I have seen him much more accurate with his punches in past fights. The ref shouldn't have stopped the fight because the guy wasn't hurt that bad and was still slipping punches. Maybe he is doing too much weight lifting. His build is freakish. I have never seen a heavyweight boxer that muscular.

yes, and i actually like the guy but what the thread starter is saying is the absolute truth and something people are try to overlook. if he looked like that vs wilder or ortiz, even parker... he'd have a long night ahead of him. his stamina issues would be the death of him vs wilder

Nah man, Takam underrated. TBRB had him no6. Dude has a great chin. Everyone expects too much from Joshua. Won every round. Learned from the Klitscko fight if he has the man hurt not to go all in, that was the most impressive thing Joshua did

Well I didn't think it was that bad given the opponent and the style Carlos chose to fight.

Carlos took it to Parker and Povokin but boxed Anthony, there was some shady actions preformed by the ref also.

But all and all I thought it was an ok performance given the variables.

The only fighters I think beat him are Wilder and possibly Povokin.

Haye would of given him problems 2 years ago but I do believe that he is done after that performance against Bellow or however you spell his name

I think AJ is doing way to much weight training..... if you follow his instagram and Snapchat it just strikes that he is doing to much..... This is boxing not weightlifting.... He has to hone his boxing skills more and work on his cardio.....with me being of Nigerian origin like him I don't think some of the nigerian food I see him eating regularly like pounded yam is good for him aswell, one of the reasons his been getting a gut.

I think it's down to his trainer and team to let him know as coming in at a career heaviest in the last 2 fights can't be beneficial to him. His got flaws that need to be addressed.

I honestly would take TRIPLE DDD over Anthony Joshua right now and 2 Years from now AJ wouldn't even last 60 seconds.

AJ is slow and stiff whearas Triple DDD is fast and fluid and getting better with each fight...total other level then AJ.

You're a bit off base when it comes to punches per round..

Before the largest indoor audience in boxing history (more than 78,000, breaking the previous mark of 63,350 set at Ali-Spinks II in September 1978), a methodical and composed Anthony Joshua, fighting most of the fight with a damaged nose caused by an accidental head butt, retained his WBA, IBO and IBF belts by scoring the fight's only knockdown (left hook in round four), cutting the challenger Carlos Takam over both eyes and landing a barrage of blows that prompted referee Phil Edwards to execute a curiously-timed intervention.

High drama at Wembley. Anthony Joshua had a 43-22 edge punches landed over the first 4 rounds (24-5 edge in power landed), including a knockdown. Klitschko then awoke, outlanding Joshua 24-21 in power shots in rounds 5 & 6, dropping the undefeated champ in round 6.

Do agree he looked bad though.

Yeah well I don't think so, I tried to see what was special about this guy other then the fact he is young and big I see nothing at all.

He is stiff and slow and doesn't look to have that much power, his last fight was the only time he really hurt his opponent and that's because the guy basically didn't want to fight and ran into that last shot with his hands down
