So yea the skill level might be comparable, but there are other variables too as a person who's familiar with both sides.

I would wager that women's boxing has a deeper talent pool worldwide than women's MMA.

And I don't know if I agree with the cuteness + sexiness either. There are some pretty girls in boxing like Braekhus , Yessica Bopp, Amanda Serrano, Jennifer Han and Yulihan Avila.

Katie Taylor is pretty cute too.

I wouldn't disagree with you there actually, its certainly not a huge gap between the sports I'd guess. The problem is boxing has too many divisions spreading them out (17 boxing divisions to 10 MMA divisions & really only about half of those get used in WMMA & only 2 to 4 get used in the main promotions typically). So while overall there are similar numbers of talent or maybe boxing has more WMMA divides them out less thus competition is higher.

Plus with how WMMA moves they can group all the best fighters in the top 2 or 3 promotions to insure a more competitive environment for the athletes & the rest of the promotions work as a minor league for seasoning the more promising talent. Boxing is just like a big traveling circus & if a guy sees a talented female boxer he's only likely to pick her up & not wanna pick up a bunch of future promising girls to work with thus its like herding cats to be able to matchmake as well as you can in WMMA.

Taylor looks like a truck driver lol. But I didn't say female boxers are ugly. I said cuteness + sexiness is sold in WMMA unlike in boxing. Cuteness or sexiness is more of a part of your brand in WMMA.

Go look at Invicta's current roster (where the UFC usually pulls females from), tell me who the top ten fighters are & who the top ten most attractive girls are. I bet you that in the next 12 months more of the top ten most attractive girls get pulled from Invicta to fight in the UFC over the top ten talents. Thats what I'm saying.

Is that right? Uh not really I suppose, but you are getting the best of both worlds in that you are getting the most talented girls who can become draws cuz there aren't THAT many Cyborg type chicks in looks out there or that you'd even want crowding your promotion. And Cyborg is a perfect example of what I'm saying cuz look at how next level Cyborg had to be to get in the UFC to begin with. If she was cuter she'd been in the UFC years ago I bet.
