So they just GAVE Andrade Belt to Brian Carlos Castano?

So Rob Brant gave up his WBA 160 Ranking for WBSS, that is looking like a AWFUL Career Move Now!

Idk about that. He probably made triple or more for that Braehmer fight then he'd get for this Murata title fight that he was creeping towards. This is a money business too, not just a title business. I believe Schaefer said everyone got 1M-ish for the first fight with a 1M bonus if you won. The winner is going to leave with about $10M+. 1M was easily Brant's biggest payday & probably by a nice %.

Tell me what road did Brant reasonably have to $10M+ by May 2018 besides this tournament? Or what fight was he gonna get a million for yesterday besides the Braehmer fight?

The fact it didn't work out for him doesn't mean it was a bad move. And if he got into a good belt position with his bs record up til yesterday idk why he can't do that again over the next year or two. I mean he just turned 27 he's got plenty of time to get back where he was & he likely gets more money now since his name got out there a hell of a lot more than it had previous to this tournament.

10 of 17 with one champion. That's progress. 10 more than they had 2 years ago.

Has to buddy up to the WBA in case he wins the rematch with GGG. Won't accept the WBC belt and will ditch the IBF belt before long rather than dealing with mandatories being strictly enforced.

WBO still his favorite ABC group and if he loses to GGG, WBO is what he will go after. But you have to hedge your bets and if he wins, the WBA will be the one he'll stick with.

They're getting closer. Just taking a while because when you're going from 3 per division to 1, it's very tricky when you're trying to avoid lawsuits.

Only 7 of the 17 divisions still have multiple WBA world champions now. Still too many, but they've kept their word about moving in that direction.
