    Let's be honest here.

The fight may make sense from a storyline point of view. Other than that Whyte has no business being in the ring with Wilder.

I think Whyte would provide a good stepping stone and some exposure for Eddie's other Heavyweight, Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller. That would be a cracking fight but Dillian would be broken down.

Wilder probably regretting turning down the $3 million to fight Whyte right now. That would be easy money.

After tonight's showing, you've gotta wonder if the offer is still there? Eddie would basically be burning money to have Wilder come over and flatten one of his stable.

Come on man wilder went life and death with drummer boy molina.

Whyte is pretty poor but he would be a big challenge for wilder and high risk

              True.
Wilder rightfully refused Whyte because Whyte would just be another trash opponent and draw more criticism. The people who act like he ducked are the first ones to criticize him for fighting fighters like Whyte.

Problem is, fans are so simple they think they need to agree with a promoter, just because they like the fighter.
Hearn is only doing all this because it's profitable to him. Not because it makes any sense for boxing or boxing fans. Stop being puppets and hero worshippers and try being actual boxing fans.

say you are right here for a second.

What would hearn gain by paying a load of money for wilder to fight whyte. Whyte doesn't have much of a fanbase so it wouldnt be a profitable event

I bet it would sell out the O2 arena. There's money to be made off that trash fight and it would raise Wilder's profile across the pond.

Whyte was facing an opponent who was just trying to survive for most of the fight. Helenius was basically in sparring partner mode and this is all the more evident by the way he kept trying to touch gloves with Whyte at the end of each round.
