I think this was more about Takam being better than most suspected rather than a blemish on Joshua's performance. Takam showed good footwork, upper body movement and mixed up his punches. He was not an easy target that stands right in front of his opponent (like Stiverne) and he is a strong, solid fighter with thick muscle and a decent chin. He's certainly been in the ring with better opposition than Stiverne.
While I did see this as a premature stoppage, there is no doubt Joshua was coasting to UD victory. Possibly a more impressive KO in the 11th or 12th.Comment

Funny that people think an average performance by AJ suddenly enhances all of Wilder's average performances - which has been all of his title defenses so far.
People are quick to forget how crap Wilder looked in his fights, which was way worse than anything AJ has produced.Comment

Imagine what these morons would post if social media was around in the 90's when Lennox Lewis went the distance with Levi Billups ? They probably dont even know who that is , it was a 210 pound journey man who couldn't punch .He wouldn't even be ranked in top 100 today ,they would have Lewis retired just after 19 fights .Comment
