AJ got tired...his mouth was already open in the 2nd round.

Joshua is just big and powerful.

When he is tired he becomes stiff and ragged.

But he is humble AF ☺

people acting like wilder hasnt struggled with fighters far worse than takam.... and tbh did joshua struggle? he basically won every round and knocked takam down. we going down the route of joshua being a bum if he doesnt knock out every opponent early?

Never seen him looking this bad, even against Wlad he was much better.

I could easily tell this even before the fight just by AJ's shape, he is in worst shape ever. He just got fat...

            Anyway props to Takam!

AJ needs to improve a lot to beat Wilder & even Parker... Yes, Parker.
I didn't think AJ was so bad. Takam had a plan, had stamina and the chin. It was a bs stoppage, it left too much to the imagination

If they were so confident he was gonna win on the cards then the fight should have continued takam looked like he was still ducking and moving. I think the stoppage was to keep his ko record clean lol

I think there was one really talented HW (Ortiz) and he completely ***ed himself so the HW scene is back to boring me now. You guys can argue all day about AJ and Wilder but I'm really not impressed by either.

honestly wlad almost looked better then ever in that fight. his speed jab it's like he really really wanted that win after the fury loss. wlad looked good.

joshua just isn't as good as what many may think.

fury blew wlad out. joshua damn near got knocked flat out & fury isn't the greatest heavyweight of all time himself. people jumping the gun with joshua.......

I'll give him a pass for this, he took the fight on 12 days notice after preparing for a totally different style of opponent and it looked like he broke his nose in the 2nd round from a headbutt.

Takam wasn't in there to win rounds, his goal was to gas Joshua out and hopefully stop him late. I thought he had some success with that but the ref stopped the fight way too early.

I think smaller guys who know how to slip and roll with punches are difficult for Joshua to fight.

Joshua is relatively stiff and if we are honest, he has a very basic style and his offensive pattern is not that difficult to figure out. Joshua (for the first 7-8 rounds) ist just a very strong and physical fighter and was able to steamroll most of his past opponents, because they didnt have any head movement or any particular good defensive skills.
Takam was defensively minded for most of the first half and was anticipating the right hand and rolled with them. As the fight went on, he was more comfortable with joshuas offense and was able to disrupt his rhythm and kept joshua from bulldozing him.
