I've read some disparaging comments on Takam in this thread, the guy is a good fighter. I thought he probably should have won the fights against Parker and Perez, he lost in a war to Povetkin in Russia (who I imagine was pissing fire hot on PEDs). I thought he looked pretty damn sharp in this fight and was trying to make adjustments and very live up until the BS stoppage. AJ outclassed and outsized him. Did AJ look good? No, but he was still winning the fight fairly handily.
None of this tells us anything about a hypothetical matchup versus Wilder. Both can be dropped, both have concussive power and both have holes in their game. I think both have killer instinct and whomever finds the ***** in the armor of the other first and lands cleanly will probably be the winner.
