Horn, Pacquiao, Ponomorov who is a win away from being top 10, then guys like Mathysse, Brook, Khan, bunch of other top 20 welterweights not on top rank. If arum could make crawford molina and crawford diaz with Haymon theres no reason they cant make crawford vs thurman spence porter and garcia. Unless they duck him which I suspect they will for awhile but they cant duck him forever because Craeford will keep raising his profile fighting on Espn and will become top dog at 147 soon enough. Haymom fighters have been extremely inactive so if Arum would allow them to fight on Espn or ppv against crawford haymon has no reason not to allow it if he truly looks out for his fighters best interest

And a slick try to say "other top 20 fighters", knowing full well that near all of them are with Haymon anyway.
Haymon made those fights because they were at 140lbs and none of his guys had leverage to argue for much with all of the belts on that side of the fence.
That completely changes at 147 and 154, where Haymon has to concede jack **** to Arum. Keep spinning if you wantComment

Sure his path to stardom is blazing a trail through the PBC guys, tough to see him getting those fights but those guys are out there currently so it can be done as long as Crawford wants to make it happen (stand up to Arum's bs and basically force him to make the fights Crawford is kind of important to him currently so Arum will have to play ball if Crawford wants to use his power in the situation as long as he doesn't threaten to leave Arum at the wrong time anyway).Comment

Crawford's path to Super Stardom will be if he starts doing **** and whips out a 14-inch rainbow colored ****. Outside of that, he needs to be matched with other big names and win big. I see Crawford as a second coming of Tommy Hearns--only without the one-punch KO pop. Great fighter, but absolutely no charisma or personality to make him the face of boxing.Comment

A promoter can do whatever they want; having a complicit boxing press peddling the promoter's spin is where I draw the most issue.
From the David Diaz fight on, Pacquiao's run was likely the most media manufactured run in the recent history of the sport.Comment

Crawford has skills but I have to wonder how another jump in weight will affect him. Moving to welterweight also presents a big challenge as it seems the division is much more talented than the junior welters. Horn will be a good test for him, especially if he is forced to go down under where Horn will hold all the cards.Comment
