He has had quite a few big fights cancelled because of injuries. Some of those injuries has been heavily questioned by some though.

Well I knew that. Brahmer has always been underrated here on nsb. That being said, I thought the weight loss would have been a problem, but it clearly wasn’t. Brahmer went 12 rounds at full steam.

      • Let's not forget that he was hurting Nathan Cleverly before he got injured and the latter "won" the title (and even had the nerve to brag about that).

Braehmer is not one of the best, but at medium level he is solid.

I just got told by someone on Twitter that Braehmer has a criminal record and can't get a visa to fight in the U.S and other country's....

not sure how legit that is but it could explain why he has no big names and why the top boxers won't travel to fight him.

Probably the most avoided boxer in the last 10 years imo. NO top LHW talks about him, safe in the knowledge he can't travel and they won't travel to fight him????

Ain't that the truth. Brant was really disappointing, he has a very poor boxing IQ. Footwork was poor, jab and bodywork was non existent. It took him til the 9th before he utilizing the double and triple jab with angles. The stage was too big for him!

I'd say the weight loss was certainly no problem.

He looked much bigger than Brant.

As I recall it, fights in the U.K. has also been cancelled. Calling him avoided is quite a stretch.

I wouldn't say avoided but he's not a big name and can't fight outside Europe, I think he's in the "who needs him club".

What fights have been cancelled exactly?

Makes one wonder what might have been, had Brähmer fought at smw his entire career. Last night showcased his skills and opened the eyes of many nsb'ers. And that at nearly 40 years of age.

Of course one has to take into account that nobody knows how good Brant really is, but I have seen brähmer a lot over the years, also live, and I've always been a fan of his style and skills.
