So do I. I think Lemieux would fight him if he wins. I don't think Saunders will ever give Jacobs or any other real threat a shot at that title he is milking.

I don't think Lemieux will until the IBF calls for Lemieux to make a mandatory defense. Since Lemieux is fighting Saunders as a mandatory he won't have to defend the belt against a mandatory for at least a year. So I see him taking a stay busy fight until he gets the call to fight the winner of GGG/Canelo. On the plus side its almost a certainty that Jacobs will eventually be made the mandatory for that belt as long as he keeps winning since the guys ranked above him are either coming off losses, owed title shots for another belt already or are busy with the the WBSS or coming off a loss in the WBSS (Rob Brant).

Danny has been fighting on HBO, so the winner of this is clearly possible. It actually should be the fight to be made and then the winner of THAT fights the winner of GGG v. Canelo 2 - in a perfect world.

What exactly does that mean?? You think Eddie Hearn is gonna cater to Al Haymon the way Showtime does?? Danny is with Eddie Hearn now and Al Haymon really has no say so in Danny's career now. He might give his opinion or recommend something but so ****ing what! He has no pull with Eddie Hearn or HBO.
Danny keeps him around out of respect but he really isn't in charge of his career anymore.
