all that muscle turns to fat over time and gets hard to maintain, no boxer needs all that muscle. if he would lean up and get a good strength endurance coach he could be a monster with lungs forreal. and wilder says he never even runs lol these guys got the game fd upComment

In his fights against Whyte and Klitschko, AJ went through periods where he was definitely gassed out. But in each case, he recovered (testament to his fitness, they say) and was able to stop both opponents.
On the weight issue - with the kind of money at stake, you can bet Matchroom have spared no expense in employing the top sports scientists to look at this vulnerability in AJ 's armor. Immediately after the Klitschko fight, I was thinking he needs to lose weight to aid a faster recovery, but now I'm wondering whether they're actually telling him he'll be less vulnerable if he's heavier for fights? There's no way he's 254 by chance, not at this level, it must be by design. But why? Any real sports scientists in the house that can speak to this?
At any rate, woulda-shoulda-coulda doesn’t win fights, so if Wilder fights AJ and manages to push him into one of these vulnerable zones, he really needs to end it there and then.
Theres a HUGE differance between breathing heavy and being gassed . He was breathing heavy after rnd 2 in the Whyte fight bc of the scuffle and comotion that took place after the bell ,he wasnt remotely fatigued .
When he came in at 250 for Klitchko it was to counter Wlads possible clinch game and add to his own physical presense ( Lewis did the same thing for Vitali ) . Weighing 254 isnt going to effect anything bc he wont be using as much jumping back and forth motion which does effect SHW's more ,not too mention wont be eating Klitchko power punching which would certainly knock stamina out of you also.
It all comes down to adapting to the weight itself . Joshua has very limited rnd experience but hes gone 11 at his heaviest in doing a few mistakes the major one was celebrating after the Klitchko knock down in rnd 5 and then letting the rnd slip by him but thats why you get rnds in . Once you go certain rnds you fight at a better mind set (even M.Tyson took his foot off the gas to make sure he can go 10 rnd ) .
If Joshua goes right at him i dont see this lasting long at all , either way you learn punch counts ( Wlad did the hard way ) from pacing and knowing your own physical abilities not what ppl look at and say .
Joshua will not weigh the same every fight hes just sizing himself up to what he believes will benefit him for a short destructive fight which im assuming its going to be at fight # 20 .Comment

He's come in heavier because Takam's head is made of steel. So he's gonna need the biggest AJ to try and break through it.Comment
