Anthony Joshua will be slightly heavier for his fight against Carlos Takam than he was when he beat Wladimir Klitschko.
The 6-feet-6 Joshua weighed in at a career-high 254 pounds Friday for his title defense against Takam on Saturday night at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The 6-feet-1 Takam got on the British Boxing Board of Control scale at 235 pounds at Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.

Quite a surprise, i thought they planned on dropping about 10lbs from what he weighed v Wlad..

I wouldn't even say it's purposely done to use even more size advantage over Takam. He was only a late replacement and i doubt they have just decided to bulk up again at about 10 days notice. He was probably coming in this size v Pulev too.
