As for Whyte, he should be #1 in WBC rankings, he's a top 10 heavyweight and is better than Breazeale, whom Wilder is trying to hype for his next fight. I think Wilder fighting the WBC #1 contender for a career high payday is something Wilder fans should be cheering for.

How do you know Whyte is better than Breazeale? Whyte is higher ranked but not better. As we all know, the rankings don't mean nothing. Could Whyte beat Breazeale - yes? Could I see it the other way - yes? Both are plodding boxers with not as good head movement - Breazeale has more power than Whyte. Whyte may be better from a fundamentals standpoint.

Wilder will fight Whyte when AJ is added to a guaranteed contract with a win for Wilder (against Whyte). That's all. If not, why bother?
