I agree. I hope/wish people were open-minded because in the past before the situation with his opponents failing tests, I was a critic of Wilder and I can see why others would be in the past - but I dont see how anyone can be a critic of him now knowing that he would have already fought top names like Povetkin and Ortiz and even others had those guys not tested positive. Wilder is trying to fight the best and this is very clear to see. It's kind of like Wilder trying to fight the top fighters and then those fighters jump off a cliff and kill themselves and then those fighters and fans blame Wilder for that! WTF?!! Like Eddie Murphy said in Beverly Hills Cop "Whats the charge if I get pushed out of a car? Jaywalking?" The worse thing was when someone said Wilder didnt want to fight Povetkin. But they didnt explain why Wilder trained hard and flew to Russia just before the fight if he didnt want to fight!!! Thats was another WTF?!!

Putting a clause in a contact before ANY contract has been drawn up for a fight has never been done I don't think.

Why are you so confident there is ZERO reason? Do you know boxing contracts and rematch clause conditions?

A contract is just a written agreement between two parties. It can be detailed, it can be broad. It's done all the time. In this case the contract between Wilder and Joshua would be that they fight each other next and that a negotiation period would start after they comolete their spring fights. Not hard and it definitely doesn't have to be publicized.

From what Ive read, Wilder is asking for 7 million because Hearn refuses to put in the contract that Joshua is guaranteed next. Hearn only wants to make a verbal promise.

This fight is a mega fight.. its too big for small areanas, this is a Wembley stadium fight! Wembley is only available in the summer. Plus if you knew anything about business you'd know mega events never take place in the fist quarter. People spend a lot of money of the festive period and Christmas so all businesses take a hit in profit during the first quarter.

So since AJ vs Wilder will not happen until summer at the least.. Why not get both AJ and Wilder to be in good fights in the meantime to build up the mega showdown?

Yep. PLUS, it took some of Wilders people to whisper in his ear 'hey DA, wake up! We get Joshua if you just wake the fek up!'. They could do the Whyte contract that way... IF he beats Whyte. Which may or may not happen. If Molina can ring Wilder's bell a good one, Whyte should be able to as well. Obviously, Wilder is the favorite, but I don't think he should get Joshua if Whyte beats him. Fair is fair.
