I don't see how they could guarantee a fight before the negotiations, networks, splits for said fight after are sorted?

Has this ever been done before? They would have to sort out the splits for Joshua fight but how do you guarantee Wilder a split and then he looks like **** in the fight, or it's not a good fight it and it devalues him....or it ends in a draw? Or Whyte gets injured in the first round etc etc

This is what people have to realise. Hearn has promised on camera that if he beats Whyte they will negotiate the Joshua fight, that should be enough. And I'll be the first erson on here to turn on him and AJ if he were to renege on that promise.

It's not going to be done for that reason, Wilder could just go over to the UK and fight Whyte and make it boring if splits already agreed. He has no incentive to make it an entertaining fight.

The reality is Deontay doesn't want the fight. He knows AJ doesn't want to fight until next year so its safe to call him out. If Wilder really wanted Joshua next, he would have Al and Di Bella make AJ and Eddie an offer like Eddie has made for Wilder for Whyte.

That's whats bizarre about all the Wilder fans on here, if he wants the fight so bad why hasn't his management and promoter made an offer?

Bellew wanted to fight Haye and Eddie Hearn made the offer, by all accounts vaseline wasn't applied but Bellew ending up winning the fight and is now in a big money rematch.

Why doesn't Wilder do the same if he really wants the fight.

He surely knows that the only way Hearn can sign a binding such contract is if all the terms of the AJ fight have been agreed. Can you imagine what a **** show such a negotiation would be? Actually no. Just like with some rematch clauses, the details get negotiated but the contract requires the rematch. There is ZERO reason why Hearn could not put such a stipulation in the contract.

Wilder's been calling out Joshua for months while he knew Joshua had a mandatory, and he and AJ know it won't happen until the Summer at least. Either way it's promoting Joshua and the fight and this will carry on until the build-up to their unification, the needle will be there and there will be genuine animosity ......I see it building right now and only idiots believe that AJ is ducking Wilder. By the time this fight happens it will be huge.

I'm not sure if Wilder is in on the plan but he's playing his part.

I think Joshua will fight Miller in the U.S and Wilder will fight Whyte in the U.K. Imagine 2 champions taking out the nearest challenger from the others country...and then unifying right after. It would be the biggest fight and best thing to happen in the HEavyweight division ever.

Rematch clauses don't include every detail and some don't even include split. This isn't new. All that has to be specified is that Joshua fights Wilder in his next fight after Wilder beats Whyte. Then they can negotiate. It's not like Hearn and Wilder don't both want the fight right?

Putting a clause in a contact before ANY contract has been drawn up for a fight has never been done I don't think.
