If Wilder had a better record he would have a bigger following and therefore be worth a lot more. AJ is a household name while only 19 fights in as a pro. Wilder is an unknown outside of boxing.
AJ is already the bigger name which says everything you need to know about Wilder.
Its a shame, Wilder is a good HW but just far too protected.

A bigger name won't help him win....ask Kell Brook

Hearn has a history of promoting his fighters with the other top fighters. In this case he is promoting Wilder with all this nonsense that he has been doing lately.
Wilder is a champ and shouldn't be bossed around by Hearn to get a shot at AJ.
I say get the right deal for the crappy Whyte fight and call Hearns bluff

Who is Tom say Wilder is not going to demand a rediculous amount for AJ too? Like 30 million. Lol.
Too bad it cannot go to a purse bid, where Wilder really gets what he is worth when his own promoters don't bid it up. Lol

The bar is set really low across the pond.
Whether we like it or not boxing is still money and politics and its rare we see the fights that we want (or when we want). Hearn knows he holds all the cards and Wilders poor record has left him playing second best to AJ only 19 fights into his career. Whatever you think of AJ he is the money maker at HW now.
What I don't want is AJ vs Wilder in 3 or 4 years time. Really needs to happen 2018 to make it meaningful.
