  • Comments Thread For: Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Disappears - Nacho Gives Him Ultimatum

Hall of Fame trainer, Nacho Beristain, is very annoyed with former WBC middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (50-3-1, 32 KOs). Earlier this month, Nacho revealed that Chavez Jr. was going to return during the first weekend of December. The veteran trainer was planning to start their training camp on October 22 at his home in Los Angeles. According to Nacho, the boxer was initially was going to return on Friday December 1 or Saturday December 2 - and the fight would take place at 168-169 pounds.

I would assume Nacho has made a ton of money as a trainer, and probably doesn't have any bad habits - last thing he needs is Jr... Way too old for these headaches.

I've seen December 16 attached to
Danny Garcia-Brandon Rios and Mikey Garcia-Robert Easter Jr also. Must be a Cali card in the works.

Jr. is a complete waste. Why anyone would pay him for a match after his history is beyond me.

He looked like he had no passion in his last fight and was just trying to survive the bout. Maybe he's done.
