Come on man, his record is good, better than most HW's. His opposition compared to Wilder is night and day and he has a high ko%. I thought he beat Parker, and that was a Parker that can fight on the backfoot and who I rate highly as well, Joshua has not shown he can fight like that and sc**** a 12 round win on the cards in his hometown, he is WAY stiffer and upright that Parker which is why I think Takam can ko him. Lets not make out Parker beat him clear-cut, did you even watch that fight? I have rated Takam on here since I joined, he has been in my top 5 and I still rate him there or thereabouts.I've watched a lot of Takam but he is NOT an elite fighter if he's an elite what's his best win a 42 year old Tony Thompson???😂😂😂 Your trying to tell me Carlos Takam has elite hand speed and foot speed yet got outboxed by Joseph Parker. 😂😂😂 C'mon man get real. Wake up to this Hearn BS as well there is no way Takam is fully prepared for this fight. Regardless of how long he's apparently been in camp he's only had 12 days to prepare for this fight.
Who in the HW division has better fundamental skills than Takam? Povetkin? Pulev maybe? You wait and see his footwork/speed and inside game. His skills inside are the best in the division currently. He's elite at what he does.Comment

I had it close to Parker, I'm not saying he's a bad fighter he probably top 10 in this weak HW division. But he is in NOT in any way an elite fighter. His best win is against a 42 yr old Tony Thompson that is not an elite win. He doesn't even have all that good fundamentals IMO, he's a tough guy with good stamina, who can do damage if he gets on the inside but he does not have the sheer physical size and capabilities to get inside against a 6ft 6 HW like AJ.Come on man, his record is good, better than most HW's. Pass. Rubbish card and I don't have the patience to listen to shills like Nelson "Kell Brook will beat Jeff Lacey easy", Fearon "I'm right you're wrong because I'm a self certified boxing historian", Froch "I don't like to watch boxing/Ward is boring" and of course...Adam Smith "AJ vs Takam is like Lewis vs Klitschko".
All of these numpties would sell their own mother's in a heartbeat.Comment

Well he was competitive with an unbeaten Perez and an elite Povetkin, so let me just assume my eyes are correct in what I have seen, that his skills are elite.I had it close to Parker, I'm not saying he's a bad fighter he probably top 10 in this weak HW division. Size has nothing to do with skill by the way, quite the opposite, he's good enough to compete with bigger guys due to his skills, which are. I don't think he is an elite fighter but he has elite skills in some areas that I mentioned. He's no doubt world level, but his inside game is up there with Povetkin's imo.Comment

what do you think of these Olympians on these PPV's?
I can't be the only one whose heart sinks when I see them on there.
I like Josh Buatsi I just think he should be on these nextgen shows or whatever until he is at title level. English title level at least.
These PPV's should always have a couple of British title fights at least.Comment

Perez is a CW, Parker and Povetkin are small HW. Size does not reflect skill but it is a Major Advantage especially at the higher weights. Look at what Klitschko did in the past decade. Takam does not stand a chance of actually winning against a 6 ft 6 world class HW in AJ. It's just gonna be how long he can survive. Jean Marc Mormeck was very technically sound fighter with a similar style and with similar physical dynamics to Takam looked what happened when he got in there with Wlad. Case and point.Comment
