Comments Thread For: Wilder: I Will Retire From Boxing If Stiverne Wins Our Rematch!

Deontay Wilder raised the stakes Tuesday for his rematch against Bermane Stiverne. The unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion promised during a conference call that he'll retire if he loses to the former champion in their second fight November 4 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Stiverne is the only opponent Wilder hasn't knocked out during his nine-year pro career, but Wilder won his title by defeating Stiverne relatively easily in their 12-round fight in January 2015.

Stiverne you so weak, I may stand in the middle of the ring and let you take a few free shots to make it entertaining for the fans. I'll go easy on you for say, about five rounds. Round six is when I pour it on.

F#ck no he wouldn't. Still too much money for him in boxing than anything else. What's he gonna do become a lawyer for big pharma if this boxing thing don't work out as well as he'd like it too?

Lol. Mfers say some goofy sh^t to try to sell a fight. This is why mfers like Floyd, Conor and even low level guys like Mayorga can garner a nice following off of talking dramatically enough to get mfers invested in them winning or losing. Lotsa mfers try to sh^t talk but it just don't go over the same or they barely understand the elements of sh^t talking that get people amped up.

No American givers a crap about unknown goofy moronic Wilder

Wilder could walk into any bank without a mask on in the US and rob the bank and no one would have a clue as who Wilder was. Wilder is just a bum with a 45 IQ.

Lying MF couldn’t lie to save his career. Forget if he loses, he should retire merely for not wanting to challenge himself.

I really wish he would retire. He has brought nothing but shame to the division. Joshua is the mutiple belt King.
