I think you're SERIOUSLY underestimating Mayweather's punching power...
I'm a Khan fan...but Floyd destroys him if he wants to...
Khan is fast, sure, even fast enough to bother Floyd...but if Floyd hit him with a right hand counter, it's probably lights out...

I do agree with the theory that he was a stylistic nightmare for Floyd though. I consider myself a good reader of styles, and I think Floyd would have problems with Khan's speed, range, and ability to move in and out of distance quickly. That's not to say Floyd could or would not win, but I think he would have to take the Peterson or Algieri approach to do it, and I think he knew if Khan didn't slow down in the second half of the fight it was a potential banana skin.
Khan I think blew hot and cold throughout his career, but occasionally had these incredible nights where everything was on point, and he completely humiliated really good boxers, and it was funny coming on NSB, because no one quite knew how to take these performances. I think Judah, and Devon in particular stand out. Anyway I think on those nights he fought above himself, and it would have been interesting if he had one of those nights against Floyd, how that would have gone.

Of course Judah was still relevant, he had gone life and death with Matthysse the fight before the Mabuza fight and edged him out. He was IBF champ still had a lot in the tank, past his best for sure, but the fact that he pushed Danny Garcia hard 2 years later says a lot.

Especially since Khan didn't have to resort to those tactics.
Notice the difference between what Khan did here and what Canelo did to Golovkin.
Saul boxed, Khan ran.
