But I never made mention of Ward and Floyd. Why did you ask me if they didn't clinch and hug? You made it seem like someone said they didn't.

You were the one posting as if Wlad never did such things.

Why did I ask you if Floyd Mayweather didn't clinch and hug? Because that was the original topic of discussion, which was to do with Mayweather being a more entertaining fighter than superior offensive boxers LIKE GGG. If you're gonna respond to any of my comment, perhaps first know the full topic of discussion which my comment falls under. Even if you directly didn't make any mention of Floyd, I'll have to assume that you were insinuating, since the original topic of my comment you responded to was related to them.

When did I ever claim or write anything that indicated Wlad never clinched?

Nah. Your opening post still didn't mention Floyd. If I was forced to assume, I could also guess that you were referring to Lara. Be more pellucid next time.

For sure landing punches. You get points for making the other guy miss, but you get more points in my book for landing punches.

And randomly idk that I really buy that Willie Pep story about him not throwing a punch & winning a round. I think I'd give the other guy the round if Pep ain't even land one punch & the other guy was the aggressor (even if he was super ineffective), but I'd love to see that fight pop up from some hidden vault of fight films to judge it for myself.

My opening post was in response to a comment related to Floyd. Therefore, my opening post was also related to Floyd. Maybe you should follow the entire discussion next time to remain on track?

What comment relating to Floyd was that? Because I don't see it.

Of course landing is by far more important. Making your opponent miss is great to avoid taking damage, but landing and doing damage to your opponent is what wins the fight.
