What's more important: landing more punches vs making opponent miss more punches?

In a boxing bout, if boxer A lands more punches (effective and ineffective punches) than his opponent that is boxer b whilst if boxer B makes boxer A miss more punches (effective and ineffective punches), then who should win if the bout lasts the 12 round distance and goes to the scorecards?

I voted landing punches is more important for winning than making the opponent's punches miss. If you don't land punches you can't possibly win. They are both very important. If your opponent is a big puncher and he throws a bomb at your chin and you don't make it miss you could be knocked out. If your opponent lands more
and better punches than you you also lose the fight. I don't see how you can separate the two skills because they are both such a big part of winning. Hit and don't get hit should be the goal of a boxer who wants to win. It's a fight and you are bound to get hit some if your opponent is any good. Block or slip as many punches as you can while trying to land your own punches.

Most important winning more rounds and not getting stopped in the process.

Quality of punches is important too. So what if Fighter B lands 20 but Fighter A lands 15 harder shots.

... and it also counts the fact that a fight is scored round by round... etc...

Making a person miss only counts when you make him miss than make him pay

So puncher b makes puncher A miss alot of shot while not landing any in return? is that what you are trying to say?

If you are not making your opponent pay for missing then you are losing
