I think it is pretty obvious! Standards are different for different boxers. Some boxers are held to a higher standard whilst other boxers are held to a lower standard. So when one boxer does the exact same thing as another boxer, that boxer is going to get more credit than the other boxer, even though the quality of accomplishment is the same.

So for example, when Andre Ward beats Alexander Brand by decision and Sullivan Barrera by decision, he gets praised for out-boxing his opponents and displaying praise-worthy boxing skills. On the other hand, when Gennady Golovkin beats Daniel Jacobs just as impressively and by similar margin, those same individuals praising Andre Ward criticize Golovkin for being 'exposed'.

But yet williams and lubin who had fought and beat absolutely noone on world level, are fantastic wins that elevate the charlos standing in the sport . The boxingscene writers even said it reminded them of tyson v spinks. Whats the difference? why is it when the charlos beat fighters with no good wins, its an amazing achievement. But these same posters then trash golovkin when he beat someone who hadnt beat anyone of note?
      NOBODY picked Wade to win.

      That's why.

if Gennady Golovkin was Lamont Jones from Philadelphia you'd hate his guts.

Lubin gets hit with one ten inch long punch that didn't look very hard and he goes down and stays down like he was shot in the head with a 44 magnum. Either that short Jermell punch was a lot harder than it looked to be or Lubin has a serious glass jaw. Even Khan has to get hit with a bomb before he is KOed.

i dont think anyone praised ward for his win over brand lol....at all....just a false made up narrative

the barrera win? well....even wards detractors felt, beforehand, that it was a good fight and step up at LHW for ward....so he should have gotten at least a little credit

see...the difference is though...when ward beat a barrera....weve already seen ward in with top world class competition....and ward was moving up a class

when ggg beat jacobs that was his first step up to a solid B level, maybe even A level fighter, and he struggled.....some felt he barely won if he won at all....

i know all of this is hard to for you to comprehend with golovkins lil raisins resting on your chin

Comparing Wade to Lubin says a lot about your boxing knowledge. Lame.
