You don't see him as a world beater ? you do realize he is now a unified champion of the world... give the kid some credit, the only question is if he can beat Tete... time will tell

Was there in person, had burnett by 2 maybe 3 MAYBE 4 points. Thought he fought well, the tactics were good, he tied him up well in close and nullified alot of ZZ's work. His punches were snappy and sharp the first five or six rounds but inevitably he tired a bit down the stretch and his work wasn't quite as crisp. I'll get nailed for this, but shade's of Ward when punching out of the clinch. Fired off the jab well in spots, but probably showboated a bit too much on the outside. You can say he should have utilised his footwork more, but Zhakiyanov moves very well cutting off the ring and this I think meant Burnett had to fight ZZ's fight...

Altogether I think he's got all the tools to be a very good fighter, including heart and grit, which he showed plenty of tonight. However, his decision making is a bit suspect. He's still a pup with only 17 pro fights, aged 25, and only 2 at the top level; I think if he can bring it all together and mature, get a few more good wins under his belt we'll see a very good champion.

Haven't seen alot of Tete but I hear he's the dog's balls, must get a wee watch at him here...

Btw, LOL @ Eddie 'the envelope!'

I agree he is not pfp yet, but he is doing everything right to get there.. he would have to be no 1 at 118 just because he is the only unified champ, I believe Hearn will keep him away from Tete though

His mandatory is Emmanuel "manny" Rodriguez, i think Manny will beat him in brutal fashion.

Doubt itll happen tbh, Warren and Hearn cant even make a damn British title eliminator together, let alone a world title unification

                      # of alphabet belts doesn’t make somebody no. 1, but props to him for beating a decent opponent
