It's a joke really. As if his legacy will mean a dang thing if he ducks the next best fighter of his generation.

AJ really starting to look like an absolute coward a la Bowe. Sad to see, I like him..

Parker is a joke champion, just keeping that belt warm for AJ or DW

Joshua who only recently started boxing and turning pro has done better building his name up in a shorter time, he took the risk that I thought he wouldn’t by fighting Wlad, so he has the right to make anyone else wait, if Wlad was so old why didn’t Wilder fight him?

Let’s see if he build his name up after next week rematch. If he wins and refuse to fight Whyte then I don’t think he really wants Joshua, maybe they have a better way to build him up over there.
Who created the notion that Wilder needed to fight Whyte? Hearn. So now the guy who signed to fight the division boogeyman in Ortiz is afraid of fighting Joshua or Whyte for that matter?

When did Wilder vs Joshua become more about making the most money and not about determining who the best HW is?

He's simply saying that he doesnt believe wilder has fought anyone not only on wlads level.. but maybe not even on a dillian whyte level.

Id have dillian whyte over old man stiverne or dahaupas. Why cant the 3 belt holder with a better resume tell the 1 belt holder with a ****e resume to fight someone closer to his level that not only proves his worth but also builds the guys marketability.

this is the issue with "hardcores" .. everyones so immersed in fights that they forget the economics that the guys who risk their neck actually deserve.

The whyte - Wilder fight makes a unification bigger, simple as. Just because wilder has a ***** loud mouth doesnt make what he says more economically feasible.
Brits always over-value Whyte. The guy is mediocre. He went life and death with Chisora, who never beat anyone.
AJ's had 1 good fight and he along with his minions want to hang their hats on that, as if he's got nothing left to prove and that beating a 40 year old who was coming off a loss is a gift to mankind.

            *** this big phony princess.

You're talking about a Hearn fighter here. This is no different than what Oscar did with Canelo but people will ignore that because .... well... because hypocrisy. That's why. Just like the anti-Golovkin crowd brought up the economics of that fight, AJ fans are using the exact same argument.

And, your whole economic angle is a weak one here, just as it was for the anti-GG crowd as Wilder, while not as much of a draw on his own, brings a synergy that generates FAR more revenue than AJ fighting several other nobodies combined. Eddie=Oscar. You guys have to come to terms with that.

            • This of course is true. Joshua will be champion for many years to come

That's a damn good question. But I'm afraid that you won't get an honest answer. We will just get some more "Wilder is desperate, dependent and crying" accusations made about Wilder by Joshua fanatics.

You're right in sense. However that is NOT the approach Hearn is taking. The magical terms that came with a Wilder Whyte fight is what prevented it from happening. Bottom line is if he made a better offer and actually tried to negotiate, then things woulda went as you believe they should.

                  • Question is why is DW interested in unifying now and not 2 yrs ago?
Is it because Fury and Klitschko were still around?
He takes his time and now wants to deny others to do the same thing he did.
                    It's stoopid.
