You're comparing two similar situations and saying they are exactly the same. GGG had a belt, and was roughly the same payday as anyone else, and if anyone beat him they would have been a legend.

GGG can make 10x as much against Canelo. Charlo has no belt/one fight at 160. GGG has probably 5 people he can face who are bigger exposure/money fights than Charlo. I want GGG to face him because Charlo is the mandatory and I want to see the best fight the best. But to say this is an apples to apples comparison is not accurate.

It is the exact same situation,ggg had beaten bums & had been gifted vacant belts & wasn't even half as known then as he is now,once he started getting hype for canelo supposedly ducking him it made his name bigger.

Canelo had no reason to fight him as kahn/cotto/chavez jr proved they can bring him same money as when he fought ggg,but 2 yrs ago ggg would've brought in way less ppvs,to top it off he wanted almost half ppv %,& forced purse bid that only wbc mandates to 55/45% split, while all other orgs only give challengers 25 or v30% in purse bids.

Ggg was given an illegal jr belt by wbc,since rules state rival org champs cant get vacant wbc belts; & charlo never fought for wbc ranking at jmw either,so he shouldn't have gotten #1 challenger shot when he moved up,same as heiland shouldn't have been #2 in division as he was retired for 2 yrs rendering him considered inactive.

ive never known of so much credit for two fighters beating dog**** oppositon. who the **** have lubin and williams beat? can soemeone answer me that? between them theyve fought one half decent opponent (past prime trout) and looked like a steaming sack of dog**** during it, getting booed by the crowd. if jermall wants it late next year he can get it, he'll get decapitated.

Golovkin was number 1 rated for Felix Sturm for two years and then Martinez. Then we were mandatory for Cotto and even for Canelo it took a while

A few things worth mentioning...

GGG is at the end of his career. Thats not to say the fight can't be made, but he's in a posiiton of making big paydays and can fight whoever he wants. GGG vs Charlo isn't a big payday. Charlo isn't a marquee name.

I don't hink he's ducking Charlo. Charlo did beat a cripple and this mandatory/eliminator thing is a load of bullshít. I think GGG beats Charlo honestly. I think Charlo is tailor made for GGG. He's not dynamic enough and doesn't hit hard enough. I don't think he can handle GGG's pressure for long.

Jacobs would wreck Charlo. I think GGG lost to Jacobs, but jeesh man you can't beat a guy with one leg at get a crack at a super big payday and the champ. Its not right.

At the present moment, Jermall would fulk him up. I like Golovkin too but at the same time he is showing too many signs of age, decline and wear and tear. Charlo is very mean, young and hungry. He'll hurt Gennady at this current stage of their careers. Golovkin wouldn't stand a chance. In addition, Charlo will throw punches back and not when it is safe to do so like Saul Alvarez.

He's been cleaning out the division for years. Literally everyone of note at 160, he has fought and smashed (besides Jacobs and Canelo, which were still clear wins). GGG has fought everyone at 160, all different styles, clearly won every fight. Yet someone like Ward fights all of his fights in his own backyard, can't even clearly beat someone like Sakio Bika or Sullivan Barrera, but you all slurp all over him because he is your great black hope. No. Monroe was a voluntary tune up. Wade was the IBF mandatory. Soliman had a bum knee when he got robbed against Wade

Wade fought Soloman at middleweight. Pretty sure Wade had most of his fights at middleweight. Not saying he's not garbage but....
