"The public are going to force it and the people want it, the people want it now," Wilder explained.

“It’s big right now, we don’t need any more hype for this. We’re heavyweights, everyone around the world is talking about this.

Right now, it would definitely make more money in the UK, but not as much as AJ vs Parker, Hughie Fury or Dillian Whyte.
I feel if this is marketed half decently as heavyweight unification , build up for months, big in-shape athletes with personality (well Wilder, Joshua is hmm) , a few spots on the news as interest builds, I just feel this can break thru a little into mainstream and get casuals interested.
These guys are in shape and knockout punchers, they look like fighting specimens and Wilder will do great coming into his own with the attention at last.
I just feel like this has the ingredients to be a big fight even tho Wilder can barely break out of Alabama at present.

Casuals will sense it's a big fight, the mainstream sports media will build it up more as these guys look like gladiators.
It will reignite some interest in heavyweight boxing.

I don't believe at all that Parker and Huggie Fury are bigger fights than Wilder. Fury just lost and ran all night, Parker is a boring guy and limited and needs to reignite his brand. The British public will know Wilder with his WBC belt is a bigger fight and the other two guys are nobody in USA. Not sure why mentioned.

Joshua will continue to rapidly conquer the UK market where ever he unifies . I just feel like there is more upside to holding this in US if you think of it as medium to long term investment in the USA market

Lol I'm not surprised in the least. Being on Wilder's side over Joshua? That's racist against Brits!!

Does Joshua want the fight or not? All this talk from the UK fans about Wilders thought process and intentions, what is Joshua going to do?

Never in my life have I seen so called fans so focused on a champ fighting a wanna be contender. The US champ says he wants to fight the UK champ and all I hear is reasons why the fight shouldn't happen ASAP. That's weak.

This fight is going to happen and it will be next year.
Wilder is just promoting it already.

The only question is whether it happens in the UK or the US.
Right now both fighters make a lot more money holding the fight in the UK.
So the only reason to have it in the US is to build Joshua AND Wilder.
The promoters will do the math.

Even if it ends up being held in the UK, if it is a good fight it the return will doubtless be in the US.

Joshua already stated he don't want that work until 2018-2020. If I was Wilder I'd just let the b**** run at this point. Ain't no changing Joshua's mind. Fight Dillian Shyte only if he's a mandatory other than that forget them for this p***y move.

But Wilder needs Joshua both for the championsship and payday. Joshua on the other hand already is a marketable celebrity and earns much more while also being younger with time on his side so Wilder is only smart to push for it as much as he can... the longer it goes the worse off becomes.

If Wilder REALLY needs the money then yea chase them or Hell go after Joseph Parker. All im saying is it seems like Joshua's team have their minds made up. "Get AJ some more experience despite him having a belt" and push Dillian on Wilder during the meantime.

Never in my life have I heard a champion say this to another champion. All of this is weak and sickening to talk about.
