          common sense.
Boxing has weight classes. The best boxer doesn't have to be from the heavyweight division.

AJ & Wilder are the best boxers on planet earth because they are the boxers that would beat the other boxers. If you want to make the case that somebody else is better "pound for pound," then by all means do so. But that doesn't change who is actually better.
I don't see your point. Are you saying because they are bigger and stronger they are the best or are you saying they are the most skillfull as in hand speed, ring craft, defense, combination punching etc...

Two people box, whoever wins is better at boxing. To suggest that the winner of Joshua-Wilder wouldn't have earned the distinction as champion of boxing is ludicrous.

Chess as a women's champion, a junior champion, etc but the champion of chess is the champion of the unlimited division.

Boxing deciding who the the best boxer under a certain weight doesn't change that the champion of boxing at any weight is the champion of boxing.
What if AJ boxed a guy who was 12 feet tall, athletic and 20 stone. The guy is a incredibly mediocre boxer at best but his physical advantages eventually overwhelm AJ. Now is he the best boxer in the world? Obviously no.

P4P means if everyone was the same size, which boxer would come out on top.

The boxer that would beat the other boxer is better at boxing. It's incredible that a concept so simple escapes you.

"Well if they were the same size . . ."

Well what if every chess player had the same IQ? What if every basketball player was the same height? What if every runner was the same speed? What if every weightlifter was the same strength?

You can have any fantasy hypothetical that you wish, but it doesn't change what words mean. The best boxer is the person who is the best at boxing. The one that would beat everybody else. Is English not your first language?

Pretty much every sport separates the best and creates other opportunities for those at a disadvantage.

But to suggest that the person who is better than everyone else at that sport isn't actually the best is so idiotic, so absurd, that we seriously question your critical thinking skills.

The lightweight champion is the best boxer who was able to temporarily dehydrate himself down to a specified weight on a specified date.

The heavyweight champion is the best boxer, period. The one most likely to win against opponents of any size in the sport of boxing.

It's unfortunate that you don't understand what words mean.

I am using my brain. The best fighters right now are in the lower weight classes.
