Just get it in the contract that once he beats whyte then AJ would be the next fight and get this **** over with. Joshua is nobody in the states. There's a reason why he won't fight in the states, because Hearn knows he won't fill any arena in Vegas. UK fighters will always draw more at home because the UK is a lil bigger population wise than California. Joshua could walk down Hollywood Blvd and nobody would know who he is.

Joshua is a star in the UK, and Wilder has a small fan base in the U.S. The fight only makes sense on British pay-per-view and on Showtime.

I agree that beating Whyte makes the fight bigger - people in the UK know Whyte because he's a Joshua opponent. But the fight isn't super necessary.

And I'm saying this agreeing I think they should just have Joshua-Wilder in the UK next. But beating Whyte helps to sell the fight - there is no question.

Whyte is better than old, faded inactive Stiverne, and mediocre Breazeale and Jennings. He'd probably beat Parker too.

Wilder would never take on someone decent like Takam or Pulev either, and he's avoided Ortiz and Povetkin.
